Coordinate Christmas Light Trail: Get ready for an epic week of live Christmas carols

And when we say lights, music, action, we mean live music (we know you’ve missed it) and Christmas light displays so epic they deserve their own concert. The best part? It’s all free—and you’re invited.
Across this week, from Monday 14–Friday 18 December, the Coordinate Christmas Light Trail will come alive with not one, not two, but 10 pop-up Christmas concerts held next to Canberra’s most epic Christmas light displays thanks to Coordinate, Mix106 and HerCanberra.
What’s more, each night you’ll have the chance to donate your spare change to the Salvos’ Hundreds for Thousands fundraising drive, which aims to raise $100,000 to help 1000 Canberra families put food on the table this Christmas.
Hitting two suburban Christmas light displays each night, Mix106 will bring live music on their pop-up stage to create a COVID-safe concert for Canberrans to enjoy. All you have to do is find your nearest concert below and show up on the night, it’s that simple.
“I think Canberrans are just really excited to end the year on a high and Christmas lights are a great way to do that,” says Logan Ayers, Creative Strategist at Coordinate.
“It’s such a fun, family-friendly night out and I’m sure the addition of live music will only add to the positive vibe. Mix106, HerCanberra and Coordinate are so excited to bring a bright Christmas cheer to the community, whilst also raising funds for the amazing Hundreds For Thousands cause in the process.”
