Everyone favourite irreverent quiz show, Hard Quiz, is hitting the road—and it all kicks off in Canberra.

That’s right—in a few months, you could be sitting in a seat at Canberra Theatre Centre, sweating bullets as Tom Gleeson asks you to come on to the stage and play…HARD! at Hard Quiz Live.

For those who aren’t die-hard fans ABC’s hilarious and irreverent quiz show, Hard Quiz, the premise is simple: a classic quiz show with specialist topic and general knowledge rounds where Australians duke it out with host, comedian Tom Gleeson, for the chance to win the Big Brass Hard Quiz mug.

But fans will know that with Hard Quiz—forget everything you know about traditional quiz shows. Because these contestants have to run the gauntlet of Tom’s cheeky and, let’s face it, antagonist humour as well as nailing their questions. The results? Uproarious hilarity.

Now, with legions of fans across Australia, Tom is hitting the road to bring Hard Quiz to the people—and it all kicks off in Canberra.

On Saturday 5 March, Tom will take to the stage at Canberra Theatre Centre for Hard Quiz Live and yes, tickets are now on sale.

As for what you can expect from the live version, Tom says “things will get loose.”

“People have been asking me for ages to bring Hard Quiz to their city,” said Tom. “Finally, I can say YES! Join me for Hard Quiz live in your hometown … away from the watchful eye of the ABC lawyers.”
