Well, pour me a wee dram and call me Nessie—this afternoon’s breaking food news is looking decidedly Scottish.
For those who like to make their whisky a double-decker, do we have the bus for you!
From 7–19 March, the (adorable) Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer bus will be parked outside Canberra’s own whisky wonderland, Molly, in Odgers Lane, ready to give you a drinking experience straight out of the Scottish Highlands.
Inside this “luxury whisky lounge on wheels” you’ll find tables (including on the open-air upper deck!) where you can order a cheeky cocktail or two or take part in a Glenfiddich whisky tasting experience and yes—they do private functions.
Operating from 4 pm daily, the Whisky Wanderer (can we just move in?) will be serving up a range of special menus (including food pairings) ensuring a range of unique whisky experiences in the heart of the city.
It’s probably no surprise that bookings are *highly* recommended so reserve yourself a wee spot or three at molly.bar/event/whisky-wanderer.
