Easter usually brings chocolate eggs and a sugar rush, but The Bavarian is mixing things up a bit with the release of Willy Wonka-style Golden Tickets to a year’s supply of golden crumbed schnitzels.
A schnitzel a week for 52 weeks sound like your idea of foodie heaven? Well, here’s how to get your hands on one of these magical beasties.
Simply make your way to your local Bavarian (Belconnen or Woden) over the Easter long weekend (15 – 18 April) and order a limited-edition Schnitzel Platter (schnitties, house-baked pretzels, traditional sauerkraut, red cabbage, potato salad, apple compote and creamy mashed potato). Then just sit back with all the things crossed until Tuesday 19 April when the winners of three Golden Tickets are announced.
