Forget banana bread, beer bread will be your latest baking obsession.

Perfect for warm summer days and fun get-togethers at home, it’s the most buttery and chewy bread in the world…and it tastes like your favourite beer. What’s not to love? 

Grab a tinnie or two out of the fridge and in four easy steps, you’ll be able to enjoy a gorgeous tear-and-share doughy bread with the perfect malty flavour.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups self raising flour
  • 1 dessertspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can beer of choice

Directions

Preheat oven to 190 degrees and mix all ingredients together well in a large bowl.  Line an oblong cake tin with baking paper, spoon in the bread dough.

Then cook for one hour and turn out a cake rack to cool. That’s it.

What did I tell you? It’s so quick that anyone can do it. Now all you need to do is enjoy the easiest (and yummiest) bread in the world.
