Yvette is a full-time working single mum with two young children who grew up in West Belconnen. For more than 15 years she worked as a community organiser before being elected as a Member of the ACT Legislative Assembly in the electorate of Ginninderra in 2012. Yvette is currently the Deputy Chief Minister, Minister for Sport and Recreation, Minister for Housing, Community Services and Social Inclusion, Multicultural and Youth Affairs, and Minister for Women.
