Canberra Milk gets behind We Are CBR
Posted on
Today ACT Chief Minister, Andrew Barr, was joined at local coffee shop Gus’ Cafe by Canberra Milk CEO Gary Sykes as the iconic Canberra business threw itself behind the community brand We Are CBR.
Since the launch of We Are CBR in March there has been excellent community uptake, with almost 100 businesses and community groups downloading the collateral available at the www.canberra.com.au website. The community brand has given these Canberra organisations, along with individuals, a way to express their pride in Canberra.
Canberra Milk has taken its support a step further by distributing 100,000 coffee cups to Canberra cafes, co-branded with its logo and the We Are CBR brand. Canberra Milk has always been a large part of the Canberra community and were on board with the Canberra Raiders when they won their first premiership in 1989 and when the ACT Brumbies played their first game in 1996.
The ACT Heart Foundation, Future Sessions and the Multicultural Festival are amongst a range of other organisations or events that have already embraced ‘We Are CBR’.
The Chief Minister encourage all members of the community to further explore the wide range of free assets that are available online and to show their pride for our city.
