Rediscover Fleetwood Mac, rethink percussion and relive the emotional rollercoaster of Babe.

If the New Year’s buzz has worn off and you’re feeling the daily grind, treat yourself to some musical escapism in March, courtesy of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra (CSO).

Looking for nostalgia?

It’s no small feat, but the CSO has distilled the greatest hits of Fleetwood Mac into a single evening, with help from conductor George Ellis and Rumours–The Australian Fleetwood Mac Experience.

Stake out your spot early and enjoy plenty of local vendors before the concert starts at 7.30 pm. With free entry and a public holiday on the Monday, there’s no excuse for an early night!

Looking for connection?

Don’t miss Love, Kindness, Decency—an intimate performance dedicated to the power of music as a positive force in the face of struggle.

This one-hour program of modern classical music was exclusively written by Australians—you can even meet some of them on the night.

Grab a glass of wine on your way into the pre-concert conversation with Cyrus Meurant and Ella Macens, before the world premieres of their new works.

Stick around after the concert for an after-hours viewing of the Darling Portrait Prizes.

Looking for something unusual?

Does ‘percussion’ trigger painful, high school glockenspiel memories?

Spend a Sunday afternoon with the CSO Percussion section and discover the delights of a well-played marimba—and a bunch of other fun instruments.

Stick around for afternoon tea and a cuppa!
