#lovemulberry: share the love with HC

It’s the season of love, and we want to share some with our readers.

Join us and Art Group on Valentine’s Day eve—Wednesday 13 February—for an evening that’s all about the heart. #lovemulberry will be held at the Mulberry Display Suite in Dickson. The first development located within the Soho precinct, Mulberry incorporates sophisticated and functional interiors designed by one of Australia’s most prominent interior designers, Darren Palmer.

Part of the Art Lifestyle Gallery, the display suite is a place where you can learn more about Art Group’s development projects and how they are rejuvenating the Northbourne corridor through clever design and modern convenience. We can’t wait to host you there.

Here’s what’s in store at a night that takes inspiration from the colours of Mulberry.

Canberra’s best Valentine selfie

We’ve teamed up with Balloon Brilliance to create a gorgeous mulberry-toned neon balloon sculpture inspired by the work of Canberra glass artist Harriet Schwarzrock.

Harriet was the 2017 beneficiary of an annual fellowship provided by Art Group through The Canberra Glassworks. She created 60 beautiful glass hearts, each representing a resting heartbeat, for the 2018 Enlighten festival. Utilising neon gas, the hearts not only glow, but respond to human touch.

The balloon sculpture will be the perfect Valentine’s Day Insta-opportunity. Snap a selfie and share to social media using #lovemulberry and follow @sohocanberra and you could win some pretty sweet prizes.

The chance to win a romantic staycation

You could win a romantic staycation, including dinner for two at Natural Nine!

That’s right, by coming along to eat and drink all the things and get your selfie for the ‘gram, you’ll also have the chance to win an Ultimate Romance Package for you and your significant other (or your bestie, or just yourself!).

We’re talking a staycation at The Crowne Plaza in a Deluxe Park View Room, dinner for two at Natural Nine, full buffet breakfast for two at Redsalt Restaurant, a bottle of sparkling wine in the room on arrival and a gorgeous local hamper of goodies from Pop CBR.

A magical gin

Taste – and maybe take home – some of our French Earl Grey Gin, created by The Canberra Distillery.

The Canberra Distillery will be onsite demonstrating the colour-changing magic of HerCanberra’s French Earl Grey Gin. You’ll be able to taste it for yourself, learn a little about the inspiration behind it, and perhaps even be lucky enough to take a bottle home!

We’ll have 10 bottles to give away to guests so that you can continue your love affair with this delightful drop long after the evening winds up.

Nibble + Nourish have set their imaginations free to create a grazing table that takes inspiration from the colours of Mulberry.

The boys from Lenton Bar will also be serving up bubbles, wine, beer and more.
