Eight places to eat truffles in Canberra this winter

If you haven’t tried truffle yet this season, you better get your skates on.
Until the end of the August, a wide range of establishments around town (from fine dining restaurants to breweries) will be serving up truffle-infused and inspired meals in celebration of the Canberra Region Truffle Festival.
SAGE
The vibe: Cosy, luxe fine dining in a heritage setting.
Must try: Their decadent 10-course truffle degustation which is available for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Friday for $130 per person.

The vibe: Old-school Italian with a modern kick and chic décor.

CONTENTIOUS CHARACTER
The vibe: A modern winery with a full kitchen available to cellar door visitors.
Must try: Throughout the truffle season, the cellar door will have a choice of a truffled dish and a glass of wine for $45, which has been selected based on seasonality.
