Five new breakfasts for your weekend

Posted on

Weekends were made for clubbing. Breakfast clubbing that is!

Fall in love this autumn with a new breakfast favourite. Here are five to try.

Ona Manuka

Any old café can try and put together an eggs benny, but no one does it quite like ONA.

They set themselves apart by adding a generous serve of beautiful salmon and some tantalising Togarashi spices, among many other colourful additions.

Not only is this one flavoursome on the tastebuds but it’s spicy enough for the gram.

Local Press

With a new Autumn breakfast menu at this forever hip and cosy venue, you can enjoy breakfast treats such as some cheeky mushrooms with smoked goats cheese.

For something a little more adventurous try the Crab + Chilli Scramble; blue swimmer crab, scrambled eggs, chilli sauce, Vietnamese mint + sourdough, both mouth-watering options.

Eightysix

Eightysix have mastered the art of lunch, dinner, and now breakfast. For a ‘brunch’ that was only meant to be around for Good Food Month, it was so popular it’s here to stay.

With dishes as elegant and fresh as the French toast, marsala peach and mascarpone, you can understand why.

Ricardo’s

Ricardo’s is a northside hotspot that never fails to disappoint. With a secret vegan menu, the options are endless and inclusive to all.

Don’t look past the Polenta Waffles with sautéed mushrooms and truffle popcorn or the Soufflé Banana Hotcakes. Salty or sweet, they have you covered.
