OTIS: Kingston’s newest eatery goes old school
Posted on
‘Old’ Kingston is getting its mojo back, with new eatery OTIS set to ramp up the cool.
He’s one of Canberra’s most renowned chefs and after a celebrated stint at Sage Dining Rooms Damian Brabender is bringing his fine dining finesse to Kington.
Reinventing the space formerly occupied by Kingston’s Belgian Beer Café, Brabender promises a ‘nostalgic’ menu that puts control back in the hands of the diner.
Expect simple dishes prepared with fine dining finesse and a focus on pristine produce and a “grand but casual” feel.
“We might have Pepper Steak on the menu, but it will be Pepper Steak like you’ve never experienced it before,” says Brabender.
Doors are set to open within weeks. Stay tuned for our sneak peek review on Saturday.
