September’s Sunday Supper Club with Winning Appliances features Chef Andrew Duong at a dinner that’s all about family and childhood memories.

When’s the last time you enjoyed a three-course meal cooked by one of Canberra’s leading chefs for less than $50 per person? That’s the concept of the Sunday Supper Club, presented in collaboration with Winning Appliances.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

On the first Sunday of each month, the Winning Appliances’ Kingston showroom is transformed into an intimate dining environment for just 24 guests.

The next event features Chef Andrew Duong at a Sunday Supper Club that’s all about family and childhood memories.

You’ll watch Andrew whip up his creations in the Winning Appliances demonstration kitchen and hear the story of his food journey in a conversation hosted by HerCanberra CEO Amanda Whitley. Your ticket price includes matched wines and entertainment.

You’ll leave not only with full stomachs but with loads of ideas and inspirations for entertaining at your place.

ABOUT THE CHEF

Andrew Duong is second-generation Australian born to Vietnamese-Lao refugee migrants. He has worked in kitchens, restaurants and bars since an early age, committing to a career in hospitality shortly after completing university.

Andrew’s creation Miss Van’s Street Food was born in early 2015, operating out of a shipping container at the former Westside Acton Park site. Andrew is now currently a co-owner and operator of Baby Su & Lazy Su.

Andrew’s Sunday Supper Club menu will showcase a range of dishes that are an expression of his upbringing—comfort food that emphasises the fondest memories from his childhood. Dishes will be prepared and presented with assistance from Andrew’s family.
