Winning Appliances’ Sunday Supper Club is back for 2020 with a new time, and a fantastic guest chef to kick off the year. That’s right, we’ll be joined by Chef Kurt Neumann of the gorgeous Grazing in Gundaroo, for an evening that celebrates regional, seasonal produce.
WHAT SUNDAY SUPPER CLUB IS ALL ABOUT

When’s the last time you enjoyed a three-course meal cooked by one of Canberra’s leading chefs for less than $50 per person? That’s the concept of the Sunday Supper Club, presented in collaboration with Winning Appliances and Siemens.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

On the last Sunday of each month, the Winning Appliances’ Kingston showroom is transformed into an intimate dining environment for just 24 guests.
You’ll watch Kurt whip up his creations in the Winning Appliances demonstration kitchen and hear the story of their food journeys in a conversation hosted by HerCanberra CEO Amanda Whitley.
Your ticket price includes matched wines and entertainment, and a very special dessert course!
You’ll leave not only with full stomachs but with loads of ideas and inspirations for entertaining at your place.
ABOUT THE CHEF

Kurt Neumann grew up surrounded by great family cooks. Whether that was his Australian grandfather preparing the hot roast turkey on a sweltering 40˚C Christmas Day, or freshly baked desserts and pastries from his German grandmother (Oma), family was a positive influence which would help ingrain fresh, fine food into his psyche.
Having worked at some of Canberra’s restaurants (Ottoman Cuisine, Courgette, Alto, Artespresso and First Floor to name but a few), Kurt’s love of fresh local produce was ignited during a stint in Victoria, British Columbia. It has since come to define his cuisine.

In late 2010 Kurt and his wife Tanya were presented with the opportunity to manage and run Grazing. After taking over the lease in May 2011, Grazing has continued to grow with the addition of a 150 seat dedicated function room to the historic dining rooms.
Grazing has been included in SMH Good Food Guides, and recognised by the Restaurant and Catering Association and Restaurant and Catering National Awards for Excellence.
HOW TO GET TICKETS
Rather than a ‘first in, best dressed’ system, we’re inviting people to register their interest in attending a Sunday Supper Club event via this Google Form (don’t worry, you don’t need to sign into Google to register).
You have until 5 pm on Sunday 9 February to register for the event on Sunday 23 February.
From there, we will randomly draw names, and contact those people to see if they—and their nominated number of guests—would like to attend. They’ll then be given further instructions on how they can get their hands on tickets.
Register your interest in attending here.
