Wholesale wine and Christmas gifting at Pialligo Estate
Posted on
*sings* Cheap wine and six days to go.
Attempts at Cold Chisel jokes aside, there’s something happening in Pialligo that is not a joke. And that’s heavily discounted wine.
To complement Pialligo Estate’s annual Christmas gifting pop-up shop (which has seen over 500 hampers and hams go out the door within the last few weeks), a wine clearance sale has opened next door.

The brainchild of a local independent wine and spirit wholesaler, the clearance includes wine and spirits from across Australia and New Zealand from as little as $8 per bottle. And the best part? You can taste everything before you buy (aside from the French champagne, that is, which hails from one of the few champagne houses still practising méthode traditionelle).

Every bottle is heavily discounted and, in addition to wine, you can also find spirits like gin and tequila as well as pre-made cocktails like the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini from Melbourne Martini.

Open from 10 am – 6 pm every day until Sunday 23 December and from 10 am – 12 pm on Christmas Eve, the Pialligo Estate pop up shop next door stocks delectables from the Estate’s gardens and smokehouse, including its award-winning bacon as well as jams, preserves, pickles, sauces, sausages, terrines and more. They also have gifting accessories (as well as little extras like candles) and can build a hamper for you.

Sharing the same opening hours as the Pialligo pop-up shop but staying open just a little later on Christmas Eve, the wine clearance is ready and waiting to help you stock your pantry or cellar for next week. Run, don’t walk.
