Are you enrolled to vote?

The ACT election is fast approaching and it’s time to make sure your enrolment is up to date.
The election for the ACT Legislative Assembly is on Saturday 15 October and, to vote, you need to be on the electoral roll by Friday 16 September.
If you’re 18 or over, and an Australian citizen living in the ACT, you can vote in this election. In fact, voting is compulsory. But first you have to be on the electoral roll.
Make sure you’re up to date
If you have changed your address and haven’t updated your enrolment, or if you’ve recently turned 18 and haven’t yet enrolled, do it now.

How to enrol
You can enrol online via the Elections ACT website or pick up a form at any post office or electoral office.
Remember, electoral rolls close on 16 September 2016. Don’t miss the chance to have your voice heard.
